I also constantly have to remind myself that my husband is at WORK!!! He isn't out playing with "the boys" or at the bar like some spouses do. I am such a lucky woman and give tons of credit to all the single parents out there. I have a new found respect for my kids' (at school-I am a teacher) mothers that can't get to conferences on time or make it to a meeting at 3:00 pm! I find it amazing that they are able to get child care and transportation to make it to a meeting about their child. I have a hard enough time getting to the grocery store...and I have reliable transportation and ONE CHILD!!! And here I am able to spend my child's first year at home while my husband works very hard to provide for all of us.-yet I still complain when he comes home a little late from work or would like to play basketball once a week.
