How should I submit my personal photo?
You can either send your photo via our website or mail your photo to: MagnetStreet Celebration *
4325 Pheasant Ridge Drive, Suite 602 * Blaine, MN 55449. Please specify your
submission method on your paper order form or your online order.
Is it better to upload my photo or send an original photo?
We recommend mailing an original photo to our office (from a film camera, not a printout
of a digital image). It will be professionally drum-scanned, allowing us to guarantee an
industry match to your original. If you cannot send an original photo, please
send your
digital image via our website for our graphics team to check its quality. We cannot assume
responsibility for the quality or color of photos that are submitted electronically, or
sent on disk or CD.
What are the size requirements for my photo?
Submitting a photo through our website must be at least 300 dpi at its desired
printing size. If using a digital camera, your camera should be at least 3 mega
pixels and set at the highest quality setting possible. This will result in a
larger file size and will produce a higher quality image. (Please keep in mind
that digital cameras and scanners often produce a red skin tone.)
**NOTE: We will convert RGB images to CMYK: colors may shift in this process.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR COLOR CHANGES WHEN CONVERTING TO CMYK. If you are
mailing an original photo to us, you can mail a wallet size photo (2.5" x 3.75") or larger. Read our
graphic standards for more details.
Will my photo be returned?
If you send a self-addressed, stamped envelope, we will return your photo.
Please include your name, phone number, and order number (if known) on the back of the photo.
Can I change the designs I see on the website?
There are several options for modifying the designs shown on our website,
as described below. There is no additional charge for you to change up to 3
elements (color, standard text, font) on an existing magnet design. Please
specify any customizations in the "Additional Notes for Designer" section of
your online order, or attach a separate page of notes for mailed or faxed orders.
If you make more than 3 design changes or request an original design,
a "design-your-own" fee
will apply. We will contact you if the requests on your
order will require this additional charge.
Can I change the color?
In many cases, the background or text color on your magnet can be adjusted
to suit your needs. Keep in mind that color words like "violet" or "aqua"
can have different interpretations and also that colors on a computer screen
vary from those on printed material. It's helpful for our designers if a
reference color can be selected from another product in our catalog or on
our website. If your magnet design includes a personal photo, we're generally
able to match the color of a piece of clothing.

Can I change the text?
You can change standard text on your magnet as space allows.
Refer to the text shown for an approximation of what will fit;
using more text than what is shown on your magnet design may result
in a smaller font size for the type. Please carefully check the
custom text on your emailed proof.

The fonts on most of our magnets can be changed.

Can your designers create a custom design for me?
Yes. For an additional charge, our graphic designers will work to create a new
custom design for your magnet. You can describe what you would like in a
text file or sketch your design on paper and fax it to us at 763-786-9393.

Can I send you print-ready artwork?
Completed artwork may be uploaded to our website. Place your order using
layout style code A-999B. Please refer to our graphic standards
for specifications and acceptable submission formats.
