proofing

We require you to approve a proof before your custom magnets are printed. You will receive your proof within 3 business days after you submit your complete order. There is no charge for your first proof. For info on when additional fees apply see the Customization section.

Emailed Proofs - We'll send you a link to a PDF (.pdf) file, which you can view using the Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not already have the Reader, you can download it here for free. Make sure you view your proof at actual size or 100%, and print it out as well to have the most accurate display of the layout.
Faxed Proofs - We can only send a faxed proof on orders placed using a paper order form. Request a faxed proof on your order form. However, we do recommend an emailed proof because it gives the most accurate display of your layout.
When to Expect your Proof - Your proof will be sent within 3 business days from the time we have your complete order. Check your spam folder if you have not received your proof in that time.
Color Accuracy - Because of the different settings on computer monitors, and the difference between computer colors and 4-color printed colors, the colors on your proof are not an exact representation of the colors to be printed on your magnet or card.
Making Changes - To make changes to your proof, the fastest way is to simply "reply" to the same email address that sent you the proof. Otherwise, call 800-438-3210, or fax to 630-653-5125.
You won't be able to make changes on the actual proof, as it is a PDF (.pdf) file. Our designers will make your requested changes and send you the revised proof. We will correct errors and omissions without charge if noted on your first proof. There will be a $25 charge for additional changes after that. Please attempt to make all changes at one time. The $25 charge will also apply to a change of layout after your proof has been created.
