how sponsorship works

Getting this done is as easy as participating in the neighborhood block party! Follow the simple steps outlined below and watch how college magnets can be a community effort and not beyond your budget.

  1. Browse our updated web store and choose your magnet. The smaller magnets will nicely accommodate one sponsor while the larger size works great for two or more.
  2. Decide how many magnets your school needs.
  3. Make a list of potential sponsors to contact Click here for a few ideas.
  4. Call or visit each potential sponsor and ask them to advertise on your college magnets. Refer to How Good Neighbors Benefit to make your case, and show them the magnet you will order.
  5. When you reach an agreement with your sponsor(s), you will need the following information from them:
    • Company Name
    • Address
    • Phone Number
    • Website
    • Logo (digital format, see Graphic Standards)
    • Payment (Check made payable to your college or MagnetStreet or Credit Card #, Expiration Date, and Name on the card).
  6. Place your order online or complete an order form. Call (800) 788-8633 with questions.
  7. Watch your email for your full-color proof. Once you approve your proof, your magnets will be made and shipped to you.
  8. Send a thank-you note along with one of the magnets to your sponsor(s) to express your appreciation for their support!
