Illustrator File
Page size (art board) must be at least as big as the illustration, including bleeds.
Make sure colors are CMYK (no spot colors)
Don't use Overprint Fill or Stroke.
Don't use 0% tints as white in any solid fill.
When creating a "white to solid color" blend or gradient, use a 0% tint of the solid color to create more accurate blends.
Convert text to outlines (or provide all fonts)
If you want to compress your files:
Use WinZip or (MAC) right-click (cmnd-click) on the files, and select Archive; (PC) right-click on the files and select Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.
The file extension will change to .zip
