Modern-Vintage Carnival Engagement Session

Categories Real Weddings

Happy Fat Tuesday! Speaking of carnivals …

Jessica and Barron went to a local carnival for their engagement session. Since it was about to close, they had the park all to themselves–from the games to the rides. Captured by Leah Moss Photography, Jessica looked so adorable in her green and white polka dot dress and Barron in his cap. They fit right in to the bold colors and vintage feel of the park. Of course, there’s nothing like the atmosphere of a carnival to “bring out the kid in you” and that’s what we see on Jess and Barron’s faces–whether they’re at the duck pond or riding on the Ferris Wheel, they’re having a blast with each other.

Country Vintage Engagement Session

Categories Real Weddings

Rachel and Neal’s country vintage engagement session was shot in rural Columbia, South Carolina. With the raw honesty captured in each shot, it’s easy to get drawn in to all the tenderness and natural beauty of the session. Visually captivating, each image is filled with interesting textures and gorgeous natural light. Shot by Diana Deaver Weddings, Rachel’s vibrantly colored sweaters just pop amidst the muted rustic surroundings, old buildings and vintage props.

A bucolic beauty indeed. Enjoy.

Vintage Travel-Themed Engagement Photos

Categories Real Weddings

A travel theme is so hot right now and we just love the look and feel of Paige and Bryan’s vintage travel-themed engagement photos. With their edgy mid-century appeal, these shots are gorgeous, soft and totally romantic! Here’s what their sweet photographer Lauren Alisse had to say about the shoot and the couple, “Paige and Bryan are two adorable people that share a love for vintage ANYTHING, Motocross, and each other. They wanted to play around during their engagement shoot so we came up with a retro, traveling couple theme and I think it came together perfectly. We traveled all over San Diego for this shoot, stopping everywhere from the famous Balboa Park to hidden parks off the side of the road. It was so much fun because these two are so incredibly in love! My heart just melts every time I hang out with these rad people!”

What’s your favorite theme for engagement photos?

Chris and Annie are saving 6/1/13 for their 1920′s-1930′s inspired wedding and to build anticipation, they traveled from San Francisco to Balboa Island in Newport Beach, CA for their vintage-inspired engagement session. Attesting to the era, Annie looks adorable in her Betsy Johnson dress and red flats while Chris captures the era wearing suspenders and a fashionable fedora. So so charming! Enjoy …

Save the Date Magnet: MagnetStreet Weddings

“Our wedding is taking place at the Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota, Florida, built in 1929 on Sarasota Bay.  We love the feeling the house gives of stepping back into the style of the 1920s and 1930s. Our wedding style is Florida vintage-inspired by the era in which the house was built.” Annie

Vintage Save the Date idea

Annie and Chris personalized Vintage Banner Save the Date–I’m pretty sure we had them in mind when we designed it. *Love*
