“Sparkling” Wedding Shoes

Categories Fashion + Wedding Attire

We’ve never had a Tuesday Shoe-day at Truly Engaging before–until today! And what better way to kick it off, than with a bit o’ glam and lots of shimmer. I knew that our Community Specialist–Amanda–loves loves shoes, so when I asked her for inspiration, I knew she’d deliver. Here are 5 of Amanda’s favorite sparkling wedding shoes. Are they not fabulous?

Personally, I’m torn between the blue slingbacks and the beaded ruby red beauties. I’m going with the ruby reds.

How about you? Which pair is your favorite?

Color Monday for the Groom!

Categories Fashion + Groom + Wedding Stationery

Happy President’s Day!

It also happens to be Color Monday … we thought we’d kick off this week with some inspiration for the groom. Pantone recently announced their fashion color report for fall 2012. Similar to the fall colors for women–what do you think of this palette for the guys? Being courted with these beautiful, bright colors and stellar neutrals has us smitten for sure. Let’s see what happens when we pair them with a groom style. Can these bright colors be masculine?

Mellow Energy

Here is Honey Gold, Tangerine Tango {color of the year} & French Roast paired together on “HoneyComb Cluster” photo booth style Save the Date Magnet design. We’re loving how this “robust” and gorgeous brown tempers the tanginess of tangerine–keeping this scheme mellow and perfect for fall.

Electric Vibe

A bright and optimistic twist for fall–here, Tangerine Tango is paired with Olympian Blue on “Butterfly Blossoms” Save the Date Magnet design. Here’s a man with confidence, vibrancy and a spiritedness about him.

Refined Fun

Stately, elegant yet never serious, we’ve paired Rhubarb and Titanium on “Vintage Vegas” classic Save the Date Magnet. This duo leaves you with the sense of the peaceful and easy yet rock-solid and stable! Love it!

Gorgeous, right? Did you know that you can change any MagnetStreet design to any of Pantone’s incredible colors? It’s easy … simply grab the cmyk color values below and once you’re in Design Studio–our online personalization tool–just insert the values and voila!

French Roast CMYK- 64.70.70.43

Honey Gold CMYK- 13.31.83.0

Tangerine Tango CMYK- 0.83.95.0

Olympian Blue CMYK- 97.54.7.5

Titanium CMYK- 42.37.34.24

Rhubarb CMYK- 9.100.61.52

Which is your favorite color combo?

Unique Wedding Headpieces

Categories Fashion + Inspiration + Wedding Attire

If you’re not the wedding veil wearing kind of bride, you still have so many lovely alternatives …

Feast your eyes upon these exquisite options from one of our favorite places to shop … Etsy! Here are three of my favorites–a spectacular rhinestone tiara, an adorable daisy chain headband with a bohemian feel, and a freshwater pearl headband. So feminine. So lovely.

What do you think of non-traditional headpieces?
