I am SO glad you posted this! Right now I am dealing with a dilema, the church I want to get married at is booked already for the 3 pm slot but they have a 1 pm slot available, our reception was to start at 6, I'm debating whether to have the gap, look for another church or just have the ceromon & reception in the same place. Then I also realized having a gap, would increase the time we have the photographer & videographer so it's an additional expense. Your post made me feel it may not be so bad to have a gap & that other people do it too.

Love the ideas. There will probably be some gap between my ceremony and reception so I love all the suggestions!
