How Blue Can You Get?

The color blue is like Old Faithful… in its array of shades is always there to calm, cool and surprise us.  Blue is a color to dream by… and when we put it beside one of our other favorites~ has the ability to delight us.  I love it alongside white for just the right pop of nautical and next to the gentler and softer sides of yellow, pink, green and lavender…  for an embrace of spring or summer.  It mellows out the advances of those amazing reds and purples and brings us back to earth with the neutrals.  Blue~ a dreamy color of serenity and commitment.

    Our bridesmaids are wearing a deep sapphire/indigo blue and we are pairing it with burnt orange/pumpkin flowers & accessories for a fall 2010 wedding. I think it will look great!
