Lace, an iconic bridal fabric in wedding gowns has never gone out but, my oh my- is it being re-introduced in fabulously fresh ways. With so many types of lace to choose from, it will always be timeless and an ultra-feminine look. Check out a few modern lace gown lovelies from the Spring 2012 Bridal Fashion Week.

Which is your fave?

Ravini- Alencon lace {delicate yet durable, a french needlepoint lace with a floral design}with bands of tulle and silk organza in between.


Oscar de La Renta- white silk with Chantilly lace {a handmade bobbin lace- which is fabric that is braided and twisted and handled on a bobbin}overlay and matching bolero.


Modern Trousseau- an Italian guipure lace {a heavy lace} gown.


Marchesa- a lace gown with appliqued tulle skirt with flower details.


Legends by Romona Keveza- for a vintage look, a Point d’Esprit {a bobbin lace} gown .


Jenny Lee- Chantilly lace gown with a sheer bateau neckline.
