Color Monday: We’re Thinking Pink!

Categories Inspiration

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month: and we’re thinking PINK!

Today’s Color Monday is all about the pinks–from soft and sweet to high-energy and hot! I love how color expert, Leatrice Eiseman describes red {pink’s mom} as  “the most physical color in the spectrum, red suggests the very ebb and flow of life.” No wonder we love pink so much!

Vision of Love is the design used for this Save the Date & Invitation. The simple, effortless quality to this design is what makes it so popular. And when transformed with light pink, it becomes playful, sweet, and romantic. The black and white photo only adds to the softness to the overall look and feel.

Appropriately named Sweet Love–this trendy Save the Date design has a fun color-blocking look to it. Transforming it with a dustier pink puts a vintage spin on it but even if “vintage” isn’t for you–modern fonts and fun photos keep this design right on trend.

Living Dream is the name of this intricate and visually-interesting design. If you’re a fan of mixed patterns–this is one gorgeous design for you! Combining three shades of pink, the feel is lighthearted and luxurious at the same time!

Personally, I’m loving Something Blue transformed with the light and hot pinks. The hotness of Flamingo Pink simply energizes the design–bringing new life to the damask pattern at the top and bottom. Vivacious. Festive. Fun!

Enchanted Encounter Save the Date is one of our most popular designs. The ability to include four of your favorite engagement photos and changing the colors to your wedding colors is too irresistible! Adding azalea pink to the equation is an attention-getter to be sure! This bright pink is truly a fantastic accent color!

So, which is your favorite pink hue?

I love the first two color combos…pairing light pinks with deep burgundy or wine. Adds a mature/sophisticated tone to the palette!
