Real Simple Weddings 2011

Categories Wedding Planning

I love Real Simple Weddings magazine! This is my third year of reviewing the magazine and the 2011 issue is still a tremendous inspiration and resource for any planning bride-to-be. From what’s what on planning and budgeting to dress {silhouette} and flower glossaries, to food, photo, video and more …

Plus, there are 10 real wedding features in different styles and formalities to inspire you with creative ideas for your wedding. Let’s see, there’s  the mountain-top wedding … the gypsy-inspired, carnival style wedding … the hot pink, red and orange filled with orchids and roses wedding … the Japanese/American fusion wedding … the destination wedding in British Columbia … a lovely multi-cultural wedding going from traditional Jewish vows to their Latin flair reception  … to yet another with a farmer’s market feel- boasting local food and wine … and then another wedding where the vibe was “rural idyllic” … oh, and I loved the Alaskan wedding that included a bush plane and foam bottom glacier boots … and of course the “I do” it yourself simple and sweet wedding with felt flower boutonnieres … Lots of fun!

A Giveaway …

Real Simple Weddings magazine goes for $13.95. And, I’d like to give one away to one of you!

Comment on one thing you like about Truly Engaging. That’s it. We’ll draw a winner on Monday.
