Using a single flower type is another way to command attention and pump up the volume. This  bouquet contains 3 gorgeous and full pink peonies.

What do you think of single flower bouquets?  Because of their simplicity, should they only be considered for a more casual wedding?

I *so* wished we could have had hydrangeas at our wedding. They are gorgeous!

I think a bouquet of one flower type exudes simple elegance (rather than extravagance). Formal or casual, luxury or budget, weddings that want a clean, simple and tasteful mood can benefit from single flower type bouquets!

Oh, those pink peonies are GORGEOUS!! Sometimes simplicity is sooo elegant!

So elegant. I did one single calla lily for my bridesmaids and it was so chic and elegant. Less is definitely more!!

Oh my, I love hydrangeas and peonies ~ I even used them at our wedding. They’re great flowers to use because they hold up really well for photos and all evening long!

I LOVE this idea! If I had it to do over again I’d definitely go this direction for flowers.

You’re really quite the genius at minimizing, reusing and going as naturally as possible. So simple and yet so smart.

Single flower arrangements are stunning! Your pictures say it all. Flowers like hydrangea, peony, ranunculus and gerbera daisy are excellent for this type of arrangement because they are large and very elegant flowers. A nice perk is it only takes a few of these larger flowers to make a wonderful arrangement. The simple elegance of single flower arrangements makes them absolutely perfect for casual to the most formal of weddings.
