How Will “Brangelina” Save the Date?

Categories Inspiration

Happy Friday everyone!

Well, it’s finally happened…seven years and six kids later: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are engaged! (As many of you are probably aware.) And although Jolie was first spotted with her ring on April 11th, rumors are fluttering that the two have been engaged for quite awhile. Custom-designed by Mr. Pitt himself, the engagement ring features a giant, sparkling diamond–weighing in at a colossal 16 carats.  Yowza!

So why now? Sources say that the couple’s clan of six kids (three biological, three adopted) have been the catalyst in their decision to finally tie the knot.

Brad and Angelina engaged

But let’s not focus on when or why they have decided to get married. Let’s focus on the future–and specifically: What will their Save the Date look like?

Yes, it’s time for another Celebrity Save the Date! Below I’ve selected three Save the Date designs that fit Brangelina’s style. Let me know what you think!

Seamless Charm

When it comes to fashion both on and off the red carpet, Angelina seems to favor that classic, all-black look. This design conveys that retro, black-and-white look that I’m sure she would love. The stripes give it a slightly modern edge, while the photo allows Brad and Angie to feature their favorite “editorial-style” family photo (taken by some famous photographer, of course).

 Sketched in Love

Since the power couple has six kids–and those children are rumored to have influenced their decision to marry–I could definitely see them using a multi-photo Save the Date like this one. Featuring a collage of four photos, this design would give them plenty of space to showcase all their beautiful children: Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, Pax, Knox, and Vivienne (whew!).

Timeless Style

The family of eight resides in New Orleans–a historic city that has personal meaning to them (especially Brad). If they get married in New Orleans, then this fleur-de-lis design would be a great way to complement their wedding city/theme.

What do you think of the three Save the Date designs I chose for Brad and Angie?

Which is your favorite, or do you have another design in mind? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Justin Timberlake & Jessica Biel Engaged

Categories Wedding Stationery

Happy Friday everyone! Have you been hearing about all the recent celebrity engagements? Drew Barrymore…Halle Berry…Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel — the list goes on! Statistically, December is the most popular month to get engaged (whether you’re famous or not). So, it’s no surprise that the month of January has been aflutter with celebrity engagements.

Today we’re focusing on the recent engagement of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel. The beautifully talented and athletic duo are finally engaged after dating on and off since 2007. (Rumor has it that Timberlake’s “elated” grandmother spilled the beans to a gossip news source!) The couple is said to have gotten engaged during a pre-Christmas trip to the quiet, scenic mountains of Jackson, Wyoming…romantic indeed!

What will their wedding be like? And what will their Save the Date look like? Yes, that’s right: time for another Celebrity Save the Date! Below are three Save the Date designs from our collection that I believe best match Justin and Jessica’s personalities.

Save the Date Magnet

Tahoe Tenderness
These LA-based lovebirds are also snow bunnies: Justin and Jessica were first spotted together in 2007 at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. The athletic couple enjoys snowboarding in the snow-capped mountains and pristine lakes of Wyoming, Utah, and Nevada. I can imagine them saying “I do” along the alpine shoreline of Lake Tahoe—making this evergreen Save the Date a great choice for the duo!

Golf-themed Save the Date Magnet

Golf Themed Wedding
An avid golfer since the age of 12, Timberlake has made a name for himself in the world of golfing. Since 2008 he has hosted the annual Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. The singer/actor has even opened his own golf course, Miramichi Lakes, in his hometown area of Memphis, Tennessee. Now that Justin and Jessica are teeing up for marriage, I could see them using this plaid, golf-inspired Save the Date. (If anyone can make golf look hot, it’s them!)

Made for Each Other
Justin Timberlake is known for being a loveable (and handsome!) goofball. And his charismatic and quirky personality helps to bring out the silly side of Jessica, too. That’s why I think this photo booth-style Save the Date is perfect for the fashionable, yet fun-loving pair. I could see them personalizing this design with silly-faced snapshots of themselves—complete with mustaches, wigs, and other fun props!

What do you think of the three designs I chose for Justin and Jessica? Which is your favorite, or do you have another design in mind? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Celebrity Save the Date: Britney Spears

Categories Wedding Stationery

New Years’ Eve is only a few days away…And while many of us will be ringing in 2012 wearing shimmering skirts and bangles, Britney Spears will be donning a glitzy new accessory: her Neil Diamond engagement ring!

As many of you may know, a few weeks ago the pop princess got engaged to Jason Trawick, her longtime beau (and former agent). If you follow our blog, you know what this means: time for another Celebrity Save the Date post! With this being the third marriage for Brit, I’m curious about what her wedding style–and Save the Date style–will be. I decided to browse our Save the Date collection and find three pretty picks for Brit and Jason.

Save the Date Magnet

Western Charm

Britney is a true southern girl–from her sweet, southern accent to her passion to pair just about any outfit with cowboy boots. Born in Mississippi and raised in Louisiana, Britney would probably love this southern-inspired Save the Date. A photo of her and Jason would take center stage in this design, while the cute western-themed buckle would frame their names and wedding date.

Save the Date Magnet

Garden with a Twist

Much like the pop icon herself, this design is girly and flirty, yet has a little bit of that  rock-star edge to it. The flowers and vines framing the the photo are romantic, yet also remind me of a floral tattoo (Britney herself has several tattoos). I  have a feeling that Britney would love this feminine, yet funky Save the Date design.

Love Beckons

Deep down, Britney is the ultimate girly girl. A fan of  sparkly, pretty things, she is often spotted wearing one of her favorite shades on the color wheel: pink. That’s why I think she would  adore this fresh and fun Save the Date. The floral damask patterns speak to Britney’s romantic side, while the pops of pink give the design a youthful energy and glow–a nod to Britney’s legacy as a teen pop icon.

What do you think of these design choices? Which do you think Brit would like best? Share your thoughts!
