Elegant, Artsy Wedding at the Please Touch Museum

Categories Real Weddings

Lauren and Lance had a beautiful wedding at the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia, PA. But before pledging their forever love–these two Temple University sweetheart grads strolled through Rittenhouse Square to revisit a few of their favorite spots–including where Lance proposed to Lauren. Some of our favorite highlights include their playful nods to Temple’s black and red colors, this stunning and historic venue, their glam wedding cake and the lighting of the Japanese lanterns. Enjoy!

Cheerful Spring Wedding In Yellow and Gray

Categories Real Weddings

Julie and James’s had an outdoor spring wedding at The Borden House in Raleigh, NC. Captured by Amy Allen Photography, and with tulips and greenery all around, their outdoor wedding was full of sweet sophistication! We love the billy ball boutonnieres and that there was a lady groomsman and that all of the ladies wore yellow cardigans. We also love the simplicity of this southern wedding and how Julie carried the pretty lace details of her dress to their wedding cake. The fun everyone had is obvious–and the outdoor checkered dance floor seemed to beckon the wedding guests all night long! Enjoy!

Color Monday: Neutral Wedding Color palette

Categories Inspiration + Wedding Stationery

A neutral wedding color palette for an urban industrial wedding has modern and chic painted all over it. Like diamonds in the rough, these unique venues–from warehouses to greenhouses–leave your jaw dropping and your imagination soaring. How do you decorate such a huge space into one that is warm and comfortable? Let those rugged urban textures inspire your creativity and even be your guide. Like in the inspiration below, think gossamer-like drapings and streamers to divide the space. And hanging clear glass candle lanterns from the ceiling will help to create ambiance and a sense of intimacy. And to set a stylish tone for your unique wedding–try a Stationery Suite like Honeycomb Sweetness. It’s simple typography style and opaque design is fresh and modern.

Beach Destination Wedding at Sandals Antigua

Categories Real Weddings

We’re taking a tropical respite from our freezing temps here in Minnesota {brrr!} with Matt and Chelsea’s colorful beach destination wedding. So gorgeous and vibrant, Chelsea and Matt had the sweetest destination wedding with just their closest family and friends–at Sandals resort on the West Indies island of Antigua. Ah… the views, the colors, the fun–all captured by Bartlett Pair Photography. Some of the details we are especially loving: the non-traditional ring box {alternative to the ring pillow}, Chelsea’s bold wedding bouquet of tropical flowers and of course, the fun island vibe with the most fabulous of sunsets!
Enjoy.
