Engagement Photos in Cool Chicago Antique Store

Unique, Chicago Antique Store Engagement Photos

We are completely enamored with Alex and Gene’s dramatic engagement photos from Michael Novo Photography. Taken at Salvage One, a unique antique store in Chicago, these engagement photos have a dark, Film Noir feel that draws you in and keeps you searching for more! Michael said, “Salvage One is somewhat of a hidden gem in Chicago … where the old can become new again. This combination of store and venue is an amazing spot to have your event at.” With all its textures, hidden alcoves and fun spots to get lost in, we get it and can see why Salvage One is so popular. So, 2 hours and 3 floors of “photographic opportunities” later …

For the second part of Alex and Gene’s e-sesh, they went to Star Lounge coffee house for a brighter feel and then it was off to the Old Town Ale House where they wanted to capture a few images of their first date location! Very cool–hope you enjoy!

Still Deciding? 3 Great Reasons to Order Just One®

Oct 17 2014

Still Deciding? 3 Great Reasons To Order Just One

We get it: ordering online can be a little risky, especially when it comes to something as important as your wedding stationery. I mean, you love your design onscreen, but how can you be sure what it will look like in person?

That’s why we folks at MagnetStreet Weddings created the Just One® program – which allows you to order a single sample of your design, fully personalized and embellished. Your colors, your photos, your wording… see it all in person before you place the big order! Pretty neat, huh?

If you are still on the fence about whether or not to order Just One, here are three great reasons to give it a go:

#1 – It can help you decide between different colors, photos, designs – even paper.

I don’t know about you, but I can be a little indecisive. I can also be a little picky when it comes to color. Maybe one of your wedding colors is blue, but you’re wondering which shade of blue will look best on your invites. Or, maybe you’re not sure which engagement photo to feature on your Save the Date. If you’re a paper snob (it’s okay, we embrace that!), maybe you’re wondering how your design will look printed on a textured paper versus a smooth one.

Through the Just One program, you can order one of each version, then compare them side-by-side in person. How cool is that?

#2 – It gives you peace of mind (priceless when it comes to wedding planning).

Maybe you have already decided the colors, photos, and final design, but you’re nervous to place such a big order online – which is totally understandable. After all, you’ve put a lot of time, thought, and (soon to be) money into your wedding stationery. Well, we don’t want you to stress any more than you have to. We want you to be excited, calm, and confident! And by ordering Just One, you can feel confident in placing the full quantity order later. And hey, you can even do a little happy dance after clicking ORDER (maybe break in your wedding shoes at the same time).

#3 – It’s FREE after you place the full order!

When you receive your Just One order in the mail, it will include a special promo code that you can use later to credit the entire cost of your Just One order toward your full quantity order. Yes, that means your Just One order is essentially free. And really, who doesn’t love free?

Ready to order? Great! Here’s how to do it (it’s super simple):

1. Find a design you like.

2. On the product details page, select 1 for quantity.  (You can also select 1 of each coordinating item/embellishment listed on that page)

3. Personalize the colors, fonts, etc. however you wish.

4. Repeat Steps 1-3 if you want to create different versions of the same design for comparison.

5. Add to cart and check out!

If you’ve already saved your design or have it in your cart, you can also change your quantity to 1 from your shopping cart.

Want more details? Learn more about our Just One program.

Laid-Back Blue and Yellow Southern Wedding

Oct 15 2014

Cheerful

Adam and Jenny’s outdoor southern wedding is as stately as it is sweet. Married on the grounds of Burke Manor Inn, this picturesque and historic North Carolina bed & breakfast, seemed the perfect venue for this laid-back, charming couple. The natural surroundings of the property were so pretty and drew out the vibrancy of their blue, yellow and white color scheme. Jenny made a beautiful bride and carried a bouquet of daisies, roses, baby’s breath and adorned with a photo charm. As for the dapper groom, we don’t think the smile ever left Adam’s face–his joy could not be suppressed! Relaxed and intimate, we hope you enjoy this southern wedding from  Amy Allen Photography just as much as we do.

Our best wishes to the happy bride and groom!

Cassie and Zach’s Tiffany Blue Minnesota Wedding

Oct 14 2014

Joyful Tiffany Blue Wedding

Zach and Cassie’s Minnesota wedding was gorgeous in every way. Their emotional ceremony began with our beautiful bride being escorted by her brother and stepfather down the aisle to meet her soon-to-be husband. And their color scheme … love! Bright Tiffany blue accents were found everywhere–from the bridesmaids’ dresses and groomsmen vests, bouts and ties, to Cassie’s brooch bouquet and wedding shoes. Tender and joyous, some of our favorite photos were of Zach and Cassie dancing outside their golf course reception venue. Thanks to Brian Bossany Photography for sharing this sweet Minneapolis wedding with us! Enjoy.

Color Monday: Vibrant, Bold Wedding Colors

Oct 13 2014

Vibrant, Bold Wedding Colors + Invitation

It’s “Color Monday” and one of our favorite days of the week! Today, we’re featuring a bright and beautiful board–full of candy-colored goodness. Bold wedding colors and a scheme like this is great fun because it’s naturally charming and whimsical. You can easily incorporate your favorite patterns {like stripes and polka dots} introduce them in fun ways {like in the groom’s socks and on your cake} and everyone will love it {because it’s delightful}. To set the tone for our Modern-eclectic “Color Monday” inspiration, we chose a rectangle invite from the Fanciful Flowers design suite. With trendy typography and whimsical floral illustrations, this invite sets the tone for a high energy spring or summer wedding. What do you think about this fresh color scheme and fanciful invitation?

Vibrant Florida Engagement Photos

Oct 9 2014

Rich and Rose are one gorgeous couple ya’ll and we’re excited to share their vibrant, Florida engagement photos. Our good friend Corinna Hoffman is the talent behind the lens here–and we just love how Rich and Rose’s personality and style shines through the shoot. Corinna said, “Rich looked like he came out of the Mad Men TV show, and him smiling just did not match his dapper outfit so I told him not to smile for our photos. ;) He was a good sport about that!” Rose wore 2 vivid outfits and looked absolutely stunning. The first part of their session was in downtown Jacksonville and had a chic, beachfront feel. The second part of the shoot was in Treaty Oak Park and Memorial Park and had a fun, casual feel. Enjoy.

Quirky, Colorful Backyard Engagement Photos

Quirky & Cute…Backyard Engagement Photos

Alex and Craig will be married on “Pi day” {3.14.} so they figured out how to style their backyard engagement photos and eat their pie too! And, of course, every math nerd knows, that if you’re going to eat pie during your engagement session, you need to have champagne as well. And, if you have champagne, well, you surely better have macaroons. That said, Alex and Craig had it all figured out. Do the math friends: colorful + quirky = adorable! Enjoy this fun, Florida sesh. {And, let them eat Pi!}
