Color Monday: Patterns To Express Wedding Style

Categories Inspiration + Wedding Stationery

From fashion to fixtures to décor–we love using patterns! They speak volumes about our personality and can be a really fun way to express the wedding style. We’ve been moving through our 2014 wedding and stationery trends and now it’s time to celebrate decorative patterns. A few on-trend wedding patterns for 2014 include ombre and tribal designs as well as the beloved classics: bold stripes, polka dots, and dainty damasks. Patterns are a terrific design element for bringing visual interest to your wedding and stationery look.

Like with today’s less than formal inspiration, you could mix it up with a variety of patterns. Let the guys pick out their ties, your maids wear their fave patterned frock, and a few across your stationery, too. Be sure to carry your patterns across your stationery items for a fun variation but consistent wedding look. What’s your favorite pattern?

Color Monday: Vintage Romance for A Modern Wedding

Categories Inspiration + Wedding Stationery

A modern-vintage wedding has a fluid and timeless feel–always evolving and always on trend. If you haven’t already, you can see and read over the 2014 wedding & stationery trends and specifically, the modern-vintage trend. Two of the easiest places to find fantastic vintage wedding inspiration is from Old Hollywood movies and wandering through historic venues. From style to swagger, translate your favorite era through your attire, venue, decor, floral choices and of course, your wedding stationery. Today’s inspiration is soft, romantic–full of lacy details and rustic diy elements. Imagine a vintage suitcase for your card box, an old window frame with your menu painted in the panes, a bridal party in mix and match dresses and a sweet color scheme of peach, pink, champagne and ivory. Ah, springtime–the perfect time for a vintage romantic wedding. Be inspired! See all 10 wedding & stationery trends.

Color Monday: Southern Style Wedding Inspiration

Categories Inspiration

Happy “Color Monday” ya’ll. Today we’ve got some good ole fashioned southern wedding and color inspiration for you. Love you like biscuits & gravy is a fun board that features a cheerful color scheme of coral, pink and tea green. Adding a little southern to your wedding might look a little like this … saying your “I Do’s” under a canopy of live oaks, feasting on a BBQ buffet, walking amid cascading blooms, and being sent off in a vintage getaway truck. Charming traditions and vintage details epitomize these sweet events and that is probably why we love southern weddings as much as we love biscuits & gravy! Setting a country chic tone for our inspiration today is a Rectangle Invitation from the Sweet as Pie Stationery Suite.

What do you think about coral, pink and tea green for setting the tone for a spring or summer wedding?
