Bridal Shoot on the Campus of Washington and Lee University

Categories Real Weddings

College sweethearts, Dale and Amy went to Southern Virginia University. They played sports, learned a few things, and fell in love. Wanting to incorporate their college experience into their wedding, Amy and Dale envisioned time alone before their ceremony. Something soft, romantic, special … just the two of them before they said, “I Do”. They opted for a bridal shoot near their wedding site, on the beautiful and historic campus of Virginia’s Washington and Lee University. Captured by {BMW} Photography Amy and Dale’s bridal shoot is peaceful and intimate. What a great idea for a first look and pre-ceremony photographs! Enjoy this beautiful couple–on the grounds of this lovely campus.

Congrats Amy and Dale!

Color Monday: Artsy and Modern

Categories Inspiration + Wedding Stationery

Reminiscent of last Color Monday, today’s industrial-style wedding, features a modern couple with an artistic flair and a love of color. This soft shade of purple is a definite complement to the sleek, stable look and feel of charcoal grey. Harmonizing with the purple, is sunflower yellow on the wedding invitation. Doesn’t it add a nice pop of cheeriness to the whole palette? Be sure to check out this personalized version of Honeycomb Cluster … the sweet Wedding Invitation + Thank You Card design featured in this board.

Wedding at an Historic New England Inn

Categories Real Weddings

We have another lovely outdoor wedding for you today!

Callie and Josh tied the knot on the gorgeous and lush grounds of the historic Longfellow’s Wayside Inn in Sudbury, Massachusetts. Wedding day highlights included a very sweet and emotional groom, beautiful hydrangea bouquets, mismatched bridesmaid dresses, and cleverly named reception tables. If you, dear reader, are from Boston–you’ll recognize that the tables are named after T MBTA  stops {Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority}. Callie and Josh sat at the Davis Square table, of course. So fun!

Enjoy.

Behind the Design: Live Laugh Love

Categories Inspiration

First off, gentle reader, have you entered MagnetStreet’s $200 Giveaway on Facebook yet?
That’s ok, go ahead and enter, we’ll wait for you. {And good luck!}

For today’s Behind the Design inspiration, we’re hearing from Rachel on her oh-so popular LIVE. LAUGH. LOVE. design featuring the full photo Save the Date, Vertical Fold-over Pocket and Rectangle Invites. MagnetStreet graphic designer

“This design is simple and fun! I picture a laid-back, upbeat couple with a whimsical style using these invitations for their wedding. Based off the popular saying, LIVE. LAUGH. LOVE. the text is used as a repeating pattern and is especially fun on the Pocket designs as well as the Carrier Card and Envelope Liners. The dark purple/gray color pairs nicely with the bits of gold for a subtle regal feel.

With it’s clean look, bold text and playful polka dots, LIVE. LAUGH. LOVE. Stationery Suite is ideal for modern couples with a not-too-serious wedding style.”
