Elegant, Artsy Wedding at the Please Touch Museum

Categories Real Weddings

Lauren and Lance had a beautiful wedding at the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia, PA. But before pledging their forever love–these two Temple University sweetheart grads strolled through Rittenhouse Square to revisit a few of their favorite spots–including where Lance proposed to Lauren. Some of our favorite highlights include their playful nods to Temple’s black and red colors, this stunning and historic venue, their glam wedding cake and the lighting of the Japanese lanterns. Enjoy!

Color Monday: My Funny Valentine

Categories Inspiration + Wedding Stationery

Friday is Valentine’s Day! Have you got special plans for your sweetie–perhaps something big and grande like a weekend getaway or something low-key and simple, like a decorated box of DIY date night coupons? Both sound good to me!

We’re especially sweet on pink and red–a sweet yet sexy color palette that’s perfect for a February or Valentine’s Day wedding. And, integrating peach into the scheme further adds to the romantic look and feel. Having a winter wedding? Here’s are four areas where you can add Cupid’s colors into your wedding look…

4 Pink and Red Wedding Decor Ideas

1. Have your bridesmaids don pink & red mix-match dresses.
2. Pick pink and red florals–from eclectic bouquets to lively centerpieces.
3. Go with pink and red bow ties & boutonnieres for the guys!
4. Think pink and red favor boxes & favor tags to complete your suite & overall look.
