Winter Colors! The Trends Are Out!

The Winter Colors Trend Report

What’s hot for winter? We’ve compiled 8 trending winter color palettes for the pending cooler season–and some may surprise you! Even if you don’t necessarily “follow” the trends, it’s fun to see what’s in for the season. A fun pop of color in your accessories is a great way to keep a current look and feel. That said, the winter colors and trend report holds a few surprises–from pretty pastels {not just for summer anymore!} to opposites attract {think navy and sunset orange}. We love the yin-yang feel of some of these combos that are both masculine and feminine at the same time. Our favorites? Let’s see: sage–a warm neutral that elevates every other color it’s next to and then there’s steely gray paired with jewel-toned teal {yes, please!}. Check out all 8 palettes and let us know what your fave winter shade is!

Sunflower Engagement Photos In A Field of Happiness

Vincent van Gogh would love Kaitlyn and Travis’ sunflower engagement photos–so full of charm and energy. Like being surrounded by thousands of smiley faces, these two couldn’t look happier in this field of sun-seeking flowers. The cheeriness is contagious too, isn’t it?! You can’t help but smile and get your happy on. Enjoy the sweetness of this sunflower-filled, sunshine-y sesh from Nicolette Sessin.

Sunflowers Make the Perfect Wedding Flower {don’t you think?}

  • symbolize adoration and loyalty
  • great complement to a rustic or country style
  • can be easily combined with other flowers to raise the chic factor
  • they’re so cheery! {they literally seek out the sun}

Minimalist Approach To A Rustic Winter Wedding

Oct 5 2015

Rustic Winter Wedding That’s Oh So Soft & Serene

Today’s “Color Monday” inspiration is for a relaxed but elegant rustic winter wedding with soft neutrals and a pop of burgundy. Imagine a quiet winter wedding–where the snow is falling gently and the wedding style is eclectic and minimalist. In mismatched dresses, your bridesmaids are kept warm wrapped in cardigans and wearing winter boots. {Super fun–great photo ops, right?!} The venue, of course, is located in a place that sings of warmth and romance–perhaps a mountain resort or a chalet that complements the rustic ambiance you’re going for. And setting the mood–is an invitation suite that draws guests into the nature-inspired look and feel. The winter berries {in design and color}, breathe joy into a snowy scene and a neutral color palette. And, they can easily be carried through to enclosure items and wedding décor itself. So gorgeous!

If you were having a winter wedding, what do you see as the most important design or décor element?

Colors: Sage (C54 M30 Y64 K2) |  Chocolate |  Champagne  |  Burgundy
