Military Wedding Planning

Categories Inspiration + Resources + Wedding Stationery

We’ve been taking a look at military-inspired events this week as a precursor to Memorial Day–the sobering U.S. holiday where we remember and honor our fallen soldiers.

Interestingly, our customer care rep, Nancy, is able to trace an ancestor all the way back to the American Revolutionary War.

Are you in the military? A firefighter? In law enforcement? We salute you! And if you are looking for wedding stationery that puts your career and service on a pedestal, feel free to browse our military & service-themed stationery:

DIY Nautical-Themed Wedding

Categories Photography + Real Weddings

Captured by Janine Collette Photography, we’re thrilled to feature Donna and Anthony’s beautiful wedding at the Channel Club in Monmouth Beach, NJ. Their pink and navy nautical theme fits perfectly as they were wed on the floating docks of this gorgeous resort. Their first look and wedding portraits were taken at the historic Asbury Park Boardwalk.

Looking radiant in her shimmering headpiece and floral-embellished Maggie Sottero gown, Donna is also a talented DIY bride. Among other decor, she also handcrafted the paper bouquets, pomanders, altar poms and boutonnieres–and they are so so charming! There’s more  … instead of carrying a traditional floral bouquet, Donna carried a stunning vintage brooch bouquet. Enjoy!

Wedding Theme: Nautical

Beauty & the Beast Engagement Session

Categories Real Weddings

From the styling in the woods to the props, I love this Beauty and the Beast themed engagement session by Christine Gosch. I don’t know about you, but I’m a sucker for timeless fairy tales, where love always wins! To Kevin and Casey, Beauty and the Beast has been their movie since high school. What a fun testimony to their history together. Congrats Kevin and Casey!

What’s particular about your relationship? Is it a fave movie, hobby, destination … ? Chat with your photographer on how to make an engagement shoot like this happen. You could even share your experience through your themed Save the Date: a unique keepsake for family and friends.
