Real Wedding: Stefanie & Russell

Beautiful. Intimate. Elegant. And replete with southern charm. I'm not sure there are four better descriptors for Stefanie and Russell's South Carolina wedding. From the magical stick sculpture to the choir, custom-made linens and handwritten signage, the details are lovely and impeccable. With only their closest family and friends, Stefanie and Russell turned their big day into an intimate weekend event that began with an oyster shucking rehearsal dinner and ended with a boat ride on a vintage boat called Grace.

Oh, and when Photographer Melanie Nashan was taking Stefanie's portraits, the choir sang for her. How charming is that? Charming indeed.

Congratulations to Stefanie and Russell- what a lovely lovely wedding! Thanks also to the talented Melanie Nashan for sharing her artistry with us as well. I invite you to check out more of Stefanie and Russell's wedding on Melanie's site. Grab a cup of tea ... you'll most likely be hanging out a while.

Happy Tuesday!

I would so have a hard time cutting into that cake! Gorgeous. Of course I wouldn't mind if someone else did!

This wedding is absolutely beautiful! Everything from the cake to the place cards to the venue itself is just breathtaking!

How inspiring

Heidi, Thank you for taking the time to post Stefanie and Russell's wedding. It was one of my all time favorites for many reasons; the bride and groom are lovely people and a pleasure to work for, i loved the aesthetic that Katie Huebel from WED in Charleston created, Palmetto Bluffs has one of my favorite chapels, and I just love the feel of a southern wedding. Thanks Again. Melanie Nashan

Simply gorgeous. That twine/stick castle is amazing, where the heck did they find that! Beautiful venue, this would have been a great one to go to for sure :)

I know! Seriously amazing stick castle- it was made by the artist. There are a few of his creations around. WOW!
